Past weekend I was invited to go out with a motorboat. I love to be on the water, so of course I came and took my camera with me. Unfortunately it was very crowdy, so I didn't see much nature... Except...... for these little barns swallow hidden in a small dark corner of the boat house. Since I was on a social trip I decided to go back the next day. Just to be sure I asked permission to be there to the owner of the dockyard. The owner told me I could make myself comfy by sitting on one of his yachts and even gave me a cup of coffee. Wish nature photography could always be like this!
A wonderfully candid moment. This reminds me of the writings or journaling of Cordelia Standwood a well known ornithologist of the early 20th century. This is truly a photograph to be proud of.
