Love when long beaked birds are photographed with the beak slightly opened and functioning. It's something the human eye, unassisted, can't pick up that well.

Your shots always have a very nice gaussian blur. Do you do this with your lens or is it an after processing effect?

This is mostly a lens feature (a prime lens give this beautiful smooth bokeh) and by post processing the finishing touch is added. (sharpening/ removing noise etc)
