I bet not many of you would have recognised this as one of my photographs. (except for the watermark ) I'm usuallya (too) tight framer, because I love my photos to be close up & personal. And normally grass in front of a face is a reason to promote a picture directly to the recycle bin. But for this one I made an exception. This photograph was taken just before dawn, in the late evening light. I like how the fox is illuminated by the last sun rays, which make her pop pout of the already dark environment...
This fox reminds me of a goddess in her animal form; elegant, mysterious, and powerful. As if she is judging you to see if you have enough nobility to enter her kingdom, beautiful.
I feel as though the vixen is peering into my very soul, mocking my greatest fears and desires. The angling of the shot is excellent, and the grass blocking it enhances the overall feel that she's stalking you as much as you her.
"...just before dawn, in the late evening light." Well which is it?
