This summer vacation my boyfriend was waiting for me outside the apartment when the cleaning lady laid this little baby in front of his feet....
It was screaming his lungs out, so my bf -sweet as he is- picked it up.
And when I arrived he said: "Look what i've found.....
And my opinion is...when you pick up a baby kitten...you could at least try to save him.
I convinced my bf to take him to the capitital, to a veterinary.
So we put him carefully in a small yogurt can and took it with us on the bike, hoping someone could help...
We visited two veterinaries, but they both said it was too young. (only 5 days old) It needed milk every three hours, it needed motherly care and it would die if we would take it in the plane...and they weren't in a position to take care of it either...
I decided to try too feed it. So we bought milk and a baby cat bottle, but it refused to drink and I was so desperate....
We couldn't take it with us and it wouldn't survive on its own....so what to do...?
Then I remembered the mother cat near our apartment.....
So we drove home and I gave the kitten to this mother, hoping she would adopt him.
She took him gently and ran away with him, so today 'm still hoping she did her mother-thing and raised him to be a big, strong and healthy boy.....

Love the picture and story. That's how I found my latest kitten/cat; abandoned feral only a week older than this. Mine was able to drink thought and I still have her a year-and-a-half later.
