It has been ages since I visited a zoo. Past week, while babysitting my sisters little daughters, we took them to the newborn lions and I still here them screaming 'Raaaaaawr!' I just realize that its strange that DA makes no difference between wild and captive animal photography. I'm not saying wild animal photography is harder or easier...it's just a totally different kind of photography

While it would be really nice to have this separation in dA galleries, it's also really ambitious and difficult to police... We keep separate folders for the two types of photography at #Birds-Club and #DA-Bestiary and it's already hard enough to make people submit to the right folder, even though together we only have thousands of members. The whole of dA has millions of members! I would hate to be the gallery moderator for that
This would be a great reason for dA to implement a public tag system though
