This is awesome, and it totally reminds me of the Steeleye Span song "Misty Moisty Morning" which is an awesome tune. I love the whole glowing quality to this piece, it's so pretty!

Perhaps I would try that with the trees covering the entire background and just the rays, you know? Without the sky...

But that might not work as well, not sure.

....to get rid of the (too) white sky.......Yeah....agreed. But in stead of saving it afterward I'm seriously reconsidering a polarization filter again ;)

I love mist! Where I work and live thankfully, there's bodies of water and in the mornings the smokylike haze is so otherworldy to me. It feels peaceful, calming...I don't know really how to describe but anyway, yeah...this picture makes me think and feel that.
