You might remember the two little lion cubs...?
Well: on the 15th of September, something terrible happened: one of them drowned......
The story goes that the mother and her two kids where ill and one of the cubs got some kind of attack and fell in the water....
I've visited these lions a lot and enjoyed their funny caprioles, so you can imagine this sad message really stroke me...
In memoriam: Mikka, only 7 months young...
The Asiatic Lion is really rare. The death of the cub threatens the planned breeding program.
