I had never seen a white poppy before and the contrast of the totally white flower with the almost ridiculously colored background makes it look like a Flower-that-isn't-Painted-yet....
Strangely beautiful.....

Wow, the petals on that are amazing, it really doesn't look like it's a real flower. It looks like tissue or something =P. You seem to live in such a beautiful area if your photos are anything to judge by, I'm very envious!

Mmmm......I'd almost invite you here.....;) At first sight it's really pretty boring here..... but when you look further (read: lay down with your legs in the thistles and your nose in the mud ;)) and have an eye for the little details ......beauty is to be found everywhere I guess. Tnx for the compliment.

I have never seen a white poppy before, either! It does look like crumpled tissue paper that needs painting... What an amazing thing.

I've seen white poppies before. They're very prickly and ooze out yellow stuff when you pick them. X_X
