This is really a cool picture! Not your typical one

I agree with b-photo. I think you should have cropped the man an dog out of the picture. The light is really incredible!!

But I think the foreground is great! Really is special. Not just a nice picture of a horizon, but a picture of a cracked surface! Think it's cool!

i think the top quater of the picture has the most impact, the remaining foreground are quite an empty space. at first glance, the light rays direct my eyes to the sun and it's only after i saw ur tittle that i actually see the man and the dog. the leading line kinda lead it away from your main subject here i guess

Great ice scene. The only thing I'd change would be to crop out that pavement paint in the extreme foreground.
