I have no clue how this works in other countries but I've seen this happen so often in Greece: the StreetCats are not left to die, but taken care of with tasty left overs or - in this case- something like dog food. Although this is probably not be the best well balanced kitten meal ever,for this one it might make the difference between dying before adulthood or making it into a big strong cat. |

I'm glad she is taken care of.
In our country straycats are not legal. If someone finds a cat wandering free somewhere in an urban area, the cat will be trapped and carried out to animal protection association. Through there the cat will either get a new home (or the possible owners can find it there) or be put to sleep...

Usually stays are taken to animal shelter where they either get re-adopted or put to sleep.
Its sad, pet industry just keep producing more baby animals. People need to make people more aware of the kind of responsibilities they're getting.
